S.M.A.R.T. Training

Safety Management and Response Techniques (S.M.A.R.T.) training provides students with the tools necessary to assess the cycle of escalation and to mitigate potentially violent situations. Current City and County of San Francisco (CCSF) and UCSF clinical and non-clinical employees working at SFGH are invited to attend.  

This training is brought to you by the Psych Educators and includes classroom presentations and group work on the following topics:

  • Evasive Maneuvers
  • Defensive Maneuvers
  • Practice Scenarios
  • Case Presentations

Course Offerings
The course is held at the Currin Carlisle Learning Center, Building 30, 2nd Floor, Suite 3200.
